An award winning optician, Wendy is a licensed optician, image consultant and global optical sales trainer.
Wendy Buchanan retired from the traditional brick and mortar Optical shop to embark on creating a new mobile optical service launching Perceptions Eyewear in 1997, and she never glanced back.
Honoured as the Trailblazing Woman In Optical, Wendy designed the Spec Style system as her sales styling process to stay alive as a mobile business by closing 99% of her eyewear styling consults and increasing multi-pair sales to 80%. It is this exact process that she shares with optical people worldwide helping them to be different and thrive in a competitive market.
